Identify music and musical pieces that align with academic topics, focusing on Empathy, Mindfulness, Critical Inquiry, and Compassion. Achievement of this objective will enable you to thoughtfully select music that supports SEL.
Curate or create basic soundtracks to enhance understanding of topics and emotional connection. Achievement of this objective will empower you to develop creative musical content that resonates with learners and deepens their engagement with key concepts.
Design classroom activities/lesson plans that encourage learners to compose or adapt music related to academic themes, and integrate music into teaching as a tool for SEL. Achievement of this objective will help you foster creativity and critical thinking, allowing learners to express ideas through music while building their SEL skills.
