Annexure VI. Note on Modification after Review received in August 2025
As you may have already seen on the credits’ page, this handbook is the result of not just one author’s effort, but of a generous community of reviewers who left 191 thoughtful comments on the draft. Their invaluable feedback helped fine-tune this Open Educational Resource and strengthen its place in the Open Movement.
- 70% of the comments focused on grammar, typos, punctuation, spacing, and suggestions for smoother phrasing to align what one reviewer called the “voice of the document.” I accepted most of these changes, though in one instance I deliberately chose a more colloquial style “Who is the book for” instead of “Whom is the book for” to stay true to the tone of this handbook. Special thanks to Andrew de Sousa, Anthony Gomes, Tejinder Kaur, Lareina D’Souza, Lynn Marie Dias, Subha Das Mollick and Mrinalinii Mehra for their sharp eyes in eliminating typos, clarifying sentences, and keeping ambiguity at bay.
- 23% of the comments addressed layout and accessibility, fixing hyperlinks, adjusting QR code sizes, and ensuring the document worked seamlessly both online and offline.
- 7% of the comments suggested adding examples, restructuring certain sections, and strengthening clarity. A special thank you to Dhairya Pandya for thought-provoking inputs that led to new additions to make this resource richer and more practical. While I have incorporated most inputs suggested by reviewers, in one case, I chose to retain my initial structure in Edition 1 of the book.
In addition to these comments on Google Docs, all 18 reviewers provided feedback on 10 review criteria, offering insights that further improved both content and usability.
This handbook, therefore, carries the fingerprints of many contributors and I’m deeply grateful for the collective effort that shaped it
